Is a Watermarked Ballot Sting Operation Happening? Maybe Not.

I have seen several posts and videos about watermarked ballots. I researched to find out what was true, and this is every bit of information I have found so far. My personal opinion is that it seems fishy that a “Sting Operation” would be leaked to the public. This would put the whole operation at risk of failure, right? Unless it’s already done, and now it is okay to let the cat out of the bag? I don’t know how these things work, but it seems suspicious. Regardless, I would like to share what is being said and the proof I have found.

Here is a video, by Dr. Steve Pieczenick, explaining the plan. I wondered, who the heck is Dr. Steve Pieczenick? I took a PR & Speaking class and learned that one of the first things I should do when giving a speech, after an initial hook, is to introduce myself and my credentials. Why should the audience listen to me? Why should the audience listen to Dr. Steve Pieczenick? The video doesn’t give us that information.

Just looking through Wikipedia, you can see that he has an impressive educational and employment history (working under multiple presidents). I won’t go into those details for the sake of space and time–you can read them on Wikipedia, if you choose. Like many whistle-blowers, people who call out scandals, etc., Dr. Steve Pieczenick’s story (not to mention his relationship with Alex Jones) contains some controversy. I don’t necessarily blow him off because of that or consider all of his words false. Still, I wonder, and he didn’t share–who told him this information? Who gave him the right to release it, and why, now? Why not wait until a week after the election? Why not more official people?

Here is another video that has been shared. Where, though, did these people get this information? If I can’t find an actual official source, I am personally skeptical.

I have seen several Twitter and Facebook posts about this watermark, but these are all unverified so far. In sharing these, I am not saying these are true, I only want to show the claims. Here are some examples:

Again, I am still researching to find out, are these claims true? Where are the official sources? The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency confirms that some ballots do have watermarks:

You can find this graphic on the CISA website.

They do not clarify what kind of watermarks these are–are they invisible to the eye?

There was a patent for a security blockchain to ensure reliable voting, but it doesn’t seem like this watermark being mentioned is the same thing.

California does use a watermark, as outlined here.

The Washington Post had an article in October about DHS planning a large operation to secure US elections, but it is unclear if this article is referring to the watermarked ballot concept.

It wouldn’t be surprising if some things about this year’s voting methods changed, even drastically and secretly, from years past. In 2018, the chief of the Department of Homeland Security said that she wanted all 50 states to have verifiable ballots by the 2020 election. This seems reasonable, considering what a big impact an election has on our country and the world!

Also, a DHS cyber agency, (CISA) said that they would be using an open-source software tool called Arlo to audit ballots in the 2020 election. I haven’t been able to find any proof that this tool is specifically looking for a Watermark. “DHS said that the software “supports numerous types of post-election audits across various types of voting machines, including all major vendors.”” (Source) Still, that’s pretty vague information. Does it read watermarks or toss out ballots that don’t have a watermark?

Was the National Guard Deployed?

So, one of the big claims is that the National Guard has been deployed to twelve states to check the ballots. Is this true? We all know, we’ve seen in the news, that the National Guard has definitely been deployed to big cities in case of civil unrest if President Trump secures a second term. But, are they really in some cities to check the ballots? I researched. I will distinguish which cities/states the National Guard was deployed to and for what purpose under the headings below.

Cities and States Where the National Guard Has Been Deployed to Oversee Polling and/or Cybersecurity

DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has led election infrastructure security efforts, bolstering support to states since 2016. On election day, CISA plans to have a virtual war room to aid information sharing between federal agencies, such as the FBI, tech companies, and state and local government officials.

For the National Guard, their efforts have also increased and have gained the attention of Congress. Sens. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) introduced a bill last month to clarify the National Guard’s support role in election system security.

The support extends beyond cyber protection, however. In addition to Tennessee’s plans, Nebraska guardsmen are being called in for election support for the first time.

Source

It was specifically stated that the National Guard would not be at polling places in Texas, they would only be deployed in case of civil unrest and to protect national monuments. Texas was included is one of the twelve states that supposedly the National Guard was deployed to in order to check for the watermark.

Cities and States Where the National Guard Has Been Deployed In Case of Riots/Civil Unrest

Was the National Guard Deployed to Twelve Specific States to Check Ballots for a Watermark?

All of the twelve states mentioned in the information about the watermark did indeed have the National Guard called in, but not necessarily to check ballots. Six of the twelve states mentioned had the National Guard called in for cybersecurity: Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington.. Two of the twelve states had the National Guard called in for polling: Kentucky and Wisconsin. Three of the twelve states mentioned only called in the National Guard in case of civil unrest. I think this is important to note, that in Alabama, Arizona and Texas, the National Guard was not deployed in order to count ballots or check for watermarks. Or, at least, if that is what they were called for, nobody has reported it.

Paper Ballots that Could be Audited Were Requested

As early as August of 2019, DHS officials were asking for backup paper ballots.

“There’s a big recognition today that auditing is important, and to do a proper audit you need a piece of paper,” Kathy Rogers, Election Systems & Software senior vice president of government relations, told CNN.

Source

The main reason for the push for paper ballots was to prevent foreign hacking into electronic systems.

The National Academics of Sciences Engineering Medicine has recommendations to “Secure the Vote,” including:

Ballot Printing: Where Did the Paper Come From and Who Did the Printing?

I found this:

When there is both an elected individual and a board or commission charged with elections, the division of duties varies. Rhode Island is one example of shared responsibilities. There, the secretary of state’s office is in charge of ballot design, layout and coding; sending out mail ballots; certifying candidates; and overseeing procurement for voting equipment. The state board of elections packages equipment, supplies and precinct tabulators and delivers them to each city/town before the election; troubleshoots technical issues on Election Day; and receives and tabulates statewide results.

Source

Okay, so, in Rhode Island, the secretary of state designs the ballot and codes it and sends out mail in ballots. Where does the paper come from?

I found that the ballots were printed by several companies, including:

I’m sure there are other printing companies, as I can’t imagine four companies handled all of the printing for all fifty states. Still, I could not find anything about a watermark on ballots on any of these companies’ sites.

This flier from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission doesn’t mention anything about watermarks, either.

I think it’s important to note that IF there was a watermark or special paper for the election ballots, the printing companies would have known about it. One site reached out to Runbeck, and this is what they said:

Lead Stories reached out to Runbeck Election Services and spoke with the company president, Jeff Ellington, to understand the feasibility of such a plan. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Runbeck Election Services prints millions of ballots for customers in several states. Ellington said his company had been getting calls from concerned citizens who heard this rumor.

One of the main points he emphasized is that ballots are printed all the way down to the local level. Even two people who live right across the street from each other might have different ballots because of a difference in school district. In Los Angeles County for example, he said that there are 230,000 different potential ballot styles, representing all the districts and races as well as a number of different languages. He receives a file with the orders for the ballots which are printed individually. Without having those very specific files, it would be impossible for someone else to print the ballots of all the voters in all the local districts across the country.

Source

Interesting statement, still, it isn’t clear where the paper came from. The ballots may be printed differently: but could DHS have controlled what paper every single printing facility used?

Money Spent on Election Security

In 2019, Congress allocated $425 million dollars for election security. (Source) This was the second batch of money allocated for the cause, and $700 billion (total) was expected in 2018. (Source)

Funding was provided to secure the U.S. elections, and as of January 2020, the following information was reported:

New: CSIA Denies Involvement in Any Watermark or Ballot Auditing:

It seems that if there was a watermark on the ballots, certainly the Department of Homeland Security’s cyber security operation, CISA, would be involved. This is their most recent statement:

Source

Conclusion: Is a Secret Sting Operation Happening?

If the CISA was not involved, then who? I don’t feel like the evidence is lining up to prove this watermark theory true. The National Guard was not specifically only deployed to the twelve states mentioned, nor were they deployed specifically to combat voter fraud in all of those states. I believe that election security has definitely been ramped up, by both the Republican and Democrat parties (as it should be, election security should be a nonpartisan issue). It seems fishy to me that one man, or a few, who don’t currently work for the government, would specifically report to InfoWars, a conservative program. If there was a sting operation going on, why wouldn’t this be shared in a press briefing, by an official, to all Americans?

Sorry friends, I know many of you were hopeful that evil would be caught. Evil still may be caught–but I don’t think it will be through a watermark.

Final Caution: What If

I see a lot of posts from people who believe President Trump is going to “drain the swamp” and get all of the evil out of Washington and possibly Hollywood, too. They put a lot of hope in this one man to overcome a corrupt system on his own or with a team. While it is important to hope, I want to share a few of my thoughts:

  • I voted for Trump and I am hopeful he will combat the evil.
  • Donald Trump is just a man.
  • We don’t know for 100% certain that he is totally separate from the system. What if he was one of them? I hope he isn’t, but, what if? What if all of the love and/or hate for this man is all a game, set up for us, and we’re all falling into the trap? I wonder a lot…Can you tell?
  • What if Joe Biden wins this election, through fraud, and the fraud is never called out or caught?
  • What if Joe Biden wins this election fair and square?
  • Are you guys going to be okay? I hope so. I put my hope in Jesus Christ. I trust that God has this election and He has America. I am not afraid. I feel peace. I don’t feel anxious about checking election results 20x per day, worried that my future and my family’s future is at stake. I do believe things will change, even in major and unfavorable ways if Joe Biden wins, but I am not scared. My hope is in Jesus. I hope you can feel this kind of peace, too.

At the end of the day, the man God wants to be President of the United States will be the President, and I’m okay with that.

Former VP Biden’s Presidential Debate Words Analyzed

Color Key

Orange letters are attacks against the policies of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence’s administration.
Yellow letters are personal attacks against either President Donald Trump or Vice President Mike Pence or general attacks against the Republican party. These have no place in a civil debate and only lead to division.
Purple letters are statements about his record, Senator Kamala Harris’s record.
Gray letters are statements about his personal values or Senator Kamala Harris’s values or beliefs.
Blue letters are the most important, because those are policy statements or “We WILL ___” statements. These are the most significant words spoken in a debate. Sadly, there have been few of these uttered in either of the two 2020 presidential debates. Scroll below to see how few policy words were spoken.
Black letters are extra, they are not history records, policy statements or attacks. Sometimes, they are “thank you’s” or contain gestures. Often times, they are time-fillers in order to avoid the real question.

What He Said:

“How you doing, man?
I’m well.

Laughed

Well, first of all, thank you for doing this and looking forward to this, Mr. President. The American people have a right to have a say in who the Supreme Court nominee is and that say occurs when they vote for United States Senators and when they vote for the President of United States. They’re not going to get that chance now because we’re in the middle of an election already. The election has already started. Tens of thousands of people already voted and so the thing that should happen is we should wait. We should wait and see what the outcome of this election is because that’s the only way the American people get to express their view is by who they elect as President and who they elect as Vice President. Now, what’s at stake here is the President’s made it clear, he wants to get rid of the Affordable Care Act. He’s been running on that, he ran on that and he’s been governing on that. He’s in the Supreme Court right now trying to get rid of the Affordable Care Act, which will strip 20 million people from having health insurance now, if it goes into court. And the justice, I’m not opposed to the justice, she seems like a very fine person. But she’s written, before she went in the bench, which is her right, that she thinks that the Affordable Care Act is not Constitutional. The other thing that’s on the court, and if it’s struck down, what happens? Women’s rights are fundamentally changed. Once again, a woman could pay more money because she has a pre-existing condition of pregnancy. They’re able to charge women more for the same exact procedure a man gets. And that ended when we, in fact, passed the Affordable Care Act, and there’s a hundred million people who have pre-existing conditions and they’ll be taken away as well. Those pre-existing conditions, insurance companies are going to love this. And so it’s just not appropriate to do this before this election. If he wins the election and the Senate is Republican, then he goes forward. If not, we should wait until February.

He’s elected to the next election. The election’s already started.

That’s simply not true.

Laughed

Open discussion.

Number one, he knows what I proposed. What I proposed is that we expand Obamacare and we increase it. We do not wipe any. And one of the big debates we had with 23 of my colleagues trying to win the nomination that I won, were saying that Biden wanted to allow people to have private insurance still. They can. They do. They will under my proposal. That is simply a lie.

My party is me. And right now, I am the Democratic Party. I am the Democratic Party right now.

The platform of the Democratic Party is wh- what I, in fact, approved of, what I approved of. Now, here’s the deal. The deal is that it’s going to wipe out pre-existing conditions. And, by the way, the 200,000 people that have died on his watch, how many of those have survived?

Well, there’s seven million people that contracted COVID. What does it mean for them going forward if you strike down the Affordable Care Act? Laughed

I’m happy to talk about this. Look- Look, here’s the deal

Laughed

Late on the draw

By the way

You’re not going to be able to shut him up.

Laughed

Let me finish. The point is that the President also is opposed to Roe V. Wade. That’s on the ballot as well and the court, in the court, and so that’s also at stake right now. And so the election is already begun

Well, because you say-

Uh. It’s on the ballot in the court. In the court.

Donald, would you just be quiet.

I don’t know her…

  [uttered something]

Laughed

[uttered something]

Alright

Laughed

Good healthcare [laughed]

Laughed  Laughed  [uttered something]

Laughed. Laughed. Laughed

He has not cut healthcare

Laughed.

[uttered something]

Yes.

It is not!

Sorry.

It does not!  It’s only for those people that are so poor It does not. It’s only for those people who are so poor they qualify for Medicaid they can get that free in most States, except Governors who want to deny people who are poor Medicaid. Anyone who qualifies for Medicare-

M-m-excuse me, Medicaid would automatically be enrolled in the public option. The vast majority of the American people would still not be in that option. Number one. Number two.

[uttered something]

Yeah, well the manifesto

Look, hey-

I’m not going to listen to him-The fact of the matter is I beat Bernie Sanders.

I beat him by a whole hell of a lot. I’m-I’m here facing you old buddy.

Well, I’ll tell you-

All he knows how to do is hurt people  Look, here’s the deal.  I got very lucky. I’m going to get very lucky tonight as well. And, tonight I’m going to make sure–  because here’s the deal.  Here’s the deal, the The fact is that everything he’s saying so far is simply a lie. I’m not here to call out his lies. Everybody knows he’s a liar. I just wanna make sure. I wanna make sure. [Laughed] God. I wanna make sure. No, he doesn’t know how to do that. He has,

You picked the wrong- The wrong guy, the wrong time. Here’s the deal. The whole idea- There is no manifesto number one.  Number two, Number two–I, I…

Folks, do you have any idea what this clown’s doing? [uttered something] Well I’ll tell you what, he is not for any  help for people needing healthcare. Because- Because-he, in fact, already has costs 10 million people their healthcare that they had from their employers because of his recession. Number one. Number two, there are 20 million people getting healthcare through Obamacare now that he wants to take it away. He won’t ever look you in the eye and say that’s what he wants to do. Take it away. And by the way, he doesn’t know how  He doesn’t know how.

to do that. He has never done a single thing. [Looked confused} [uttered something]

Not true.

[Laughed}

[uttered something]. [uttered something] That’s what he’s known for

That’s what his people have said.

He has no plan for healthcare. He sends out wishful thinking. He has Executive Orders that have no power. He hasn’t lowered drug costs for anybody. He’s been promising a healthcare plan since he

got elected. He has none, like almost everything else he talks about. He does not have a plan. He doesn’t have a plan. And the fact is this man doesn’t know what he’s talking about.  He doesn’t have a plan.

Sure

No, I’m saying–

Whatever position I take on that, that’ll become the issue. The issue is the American people should speak. You should go out and vote.

You’re voting now. Vote and let your Senators know strongly    how you feel. Let. Vote now. Make sure you, in fact, let people know, your Senators.  I’m not going to answer the question, because–

The question. [Closed eyes] Will you shut up, man? This is so–   This is so unpresidential

That was really a productive segment, wasn’t it?

Keep yapping, man.

Yeah, they sure do.

[uttered something]

[Laughed]

2 [uttered something]

Good luck. 200,000 dead. As you said, over seven million infected in the United States. We, in fact, have five perc- four percent of the world’s population, 20% of the deaths. 40,000 people a day are contracting COVID. In addition to that, about between 750 and 1000 people a day are dying. When he was presented with that number, he said, “It is what it is.” Well, it is what it is because you are who you are. That’s why it is. The President has no plan. He hasn’t laid out anything. He knew all the way back in February how serious this crisis was. He knew it was a deadly disease.

What did he do? He’s on tape as acknowledging he knew it. He said he didn’t tell us or give people a warning of it because he didn’t want to panic the American people. You don’t panic. He panicked. In addition to that, what did he do? He went in and he

we were insisting that the Chinese, that the people we had in the ground in China should be able to go to Wuhan  and determine for themselves how dangerous this was. He did not even ask Xi to do that.   He told us what a great job Xi was doing. He said we owe him debt of gratitude for being so transparent with us. And what did he do then? He then did nothing. He waited and waited and waited. He still doesn’t have a plan.  I laid out, back in March exactly what we should be doing and I laid out again in July what we should be doing. We should be providing the money the House has passed in order to be able to go out and get people the help they need to keep their businesses open. Open schools it costs a lot of money. You should get out of your bunker and get out of the sand trap and get in your golf course and go in the Oval Office and bring together the Democrats and Republicans and fund what needs to be done now to save lives.

[uttered something]

It’s unrelated.

[Laughed]   [Laughed]  [Laughed]

I know how to do the job. I know how to get the job done.

[uttered something]. Fourteen thousand. Fourteen thousand  people died, not two hundred thousand, there was noone, we didn’t shut down the economy. This is his economy that’s being he shut down. The reason it’s shut down is because, look, you folks at home. How many of you got up this morning and had an empty chair at the kitchen table because someone died of COVID? How many of you are in a situation where you lost your mom or dad and you couldn’t even speak to them, you had a nurse holding a phone up so you could in fact say goodbye?  How many people?  And, and  by the way

His own CDC Director says we could lose as many as another 200,000 people between now and the end of the year. And he said, if we just wear a mask, we can save half those numbers. Just a mask. And by the way, in terms

of the whole notion of a vaccine, we’re for a vaccine, but I don’t trust him at all. Nor do you. I know you don’t. What we trust is a scientist.  We trust Dr. Fauci.  And–and–by the way. [Uttered something]

[Laughed]. God.

[uttered something]

This is the same man  who told you, by Easter this would be gone away, by the warm weather it’d be gone, miraculously. Like a miracle. And by the way, maybe you could inject some bleach in your arm and that would take care of it. This is the same man.

[uttered something]

So here’s the deal. This man is talking about a vaccine. Every serious. Every serious company is talking about maybe having a vaccine done by the end of the year, but the distribution of that vaccine will not occur until sometime beginning of the middle of next year to get it out, if we get the vaccine. And pray God we will. Pray God we will.

No more than the question you just asked him. You pointed out he puts pressure and disagrees with his own scientists. You can’t Well no no you can trust the scientists. He didn’t she didn’t say that, you can trust the

yes, well  the, that–

that’s what he’s going to try to do, but there’s millions of scientists, there’s thousands of scientists out there like here at this great hospital that don’t work for him, their job dodent depend on him. That’s not…They’re the people  And by the way, [uttered something]

and by the way,  Do you believe for a moment what he’s telling you, in light of all the lies he’s told you about the whole issue relating to COVID? He still hasn’t acknowledged.

He still hasn’t even acknowledged that he knew this was happening, knew how dangerous it was going to be back in February, and he didn’t even tell you. He’s on record as saying it. He panicked or he just looked at the stock market. One of the two. Because guess what? A lot of people died

and a lot more are going to die unless he gets a lot smarter, a lot quicker-  [Laughed]

Oh, give me a break.

Well, let’s have this debate [uttered something]. See [utters something]. Okay [looked confused]

Because he doesn’t have a plan. If I were running it, I’d know what the plan is. You’ve got to provide these businesses the ability to have the money to be able to reopen with the PPE, as well as with the sanitation they need. You have to provide

[uttered something] Will he just shush for a minute?

And, by the way, Nancy Pelosi and Schumer, they have a plan.  He won’t even meet with them. Republicans won’t even meet in the Senate- And he said- he sits in his golf course, I mean-  I mean, think about it

[Laughed]

Oh God.

You just admitted you shut it down.

I’ve got to respond to that I’ve got to- respond to that

[Laughed]

Just like your rally?

[Laughed]

Look, the way to open businesses is give them the wherewithal to be able open.

We provided money, the-

[confused look]

Well, masks make a big difference. His own head of the CDC said if we just wore masks between now, if everybody wore a mask and social distanced between now and January, we’d probably save up to 100,000

lives. It matters. And no serious person said the opposite No Serious person He did not say the-

[Laughed]

By the, by the way, did y-you see one of the last big rallies he has? And a reporter came up to him to ask him a question, he said, “No, no, no. Stand back, put on your mask, put on a mask. Have you been tested?

I’m way far away from those other people.” That’s what he said, “I’m going to be okay.” He not worried about you. He’s not worried about the people out there breathing on one another No negative effect, come on. Well–

Yes

Yes I would

He’s been totally irresponsible in the way that he has handled the um social distancing and people wearing masks, basically encouraged them not to. He’s a fool on that

The difference is millionaires and billionaires like him in the middle of the COVID crisis have done very well. Billionaires have made another $300 billion because of his profligate tax cut–uh, uh, proposal, and he only focused on the market. But you folks at home, you folks living in Scranton and Claymont and all the small towns and working class towns in America, how well are you doing?  This guy paid $750 in taxes

Do I get my time back? The fact is that he has in fact, worked on this in a way that he’s going to be the first president of the United States to leave office, having fewer jobs in his administration than when he became president. Fewer jobs than when he became president. First one in American history. Secondly, the people who have lost their jobs are those people who have been on the front lines. Those people who have been saving our lives, those people who have been out there dying.

People who’ve been putting themselves in the way to make sure that we could all try to make it. And the idea that he is insisting that we go forward and open when you have almost half the states in America with a significant increase in COVID deaths and COVID cases in the United

States of America, and he wants to open it up more. Why is he want to open it up? Why does he take care of the… You can’t fix the economy until you fix the COVID crisis. And he has no intention of doing anything about making it better for you all at home

Schools. Why aren’t schools open? Because it costs a lot of money to open them safely. They were going to give, his administration going to give the teachers and school students masks, and then they decided no, couldn’t do that because it’s not a national emergency. Not a

national emergency. They’ve done nothing to help small businesses. Nothing. They’re closing. One in six is now gone. He ought to get on the job and take care of the needs of the American people so we can

open safely.

People want to be-safe

[Laughed] [Laughed]

Show us your tax returns. Show us your tax returns.

Oh

[Laughed]

Release your tax returns. Release your tax returns

When?  [uttered something]

[Laughed]

Yeah, I do want to respond. Look, the tax code that made him, that put him in a position that he pays less tax than on the money a school teacher makes–than on the money a school teacher pays–is because of him… He says he’s smart because he can take advantage of the tax code. And he does take advantage of the tax code. That’s why I’m going to eliminate the Trump tax cuts. I’m gonna eliminate those tax cuts, and make sure that we invest in the people who in fact need the help. People out there need help.  Because you weren’t President, screwing things up. You’re the worst President America’s ever had. Come on

Well, just take a look at what is the analysis done by Wall Street firms, points out that my economic plan would create seven million more jobs than his in four years, number one. And number two, it would create an additional $1 trillion in economic growth, because it would be about buying American. The federal government spends $600 billion a year on everything from ships, to steel, to buildings and the like. And under my proposal, we’re going to make sure that every penny of that has to be made by a company-  Oh, I–

By the way, I’m going to eliminate a significant number of the taxes. I’m going to make the corporate tax 28%. It shouldn’t be 21%. You have nineteen companies uh uh ninety one companies federal and um I mean fortune five hundereds who don’t pay a single penny in tax making billions of dollars.

Because-Because you in fact passed that,  That was your tax proposal.  Yeah, you got it done. And it’s…uh…The economy is busted. Let me finish–

Not lower taxes for the American people.

[uttered something]

Half of the companies–

Hardly any companies have poured in  [uttered something]

Look–  … we inherited the worst recession, short of a depression in American history. I was asked to bring it back. We were able to have an economic recovery that created the jobs you’re talking about. We handed him a booming economy, he blew it.  He blew it.

Yeah, well, because, what he did, even before Covid, manufacturing went in the hole. Manufacturing went in the hole.  Number one.  And number two, number three

No.  This guy is something.

[uttered something]

I’m the guy that brought back the automobile industry. We brought back. I was asked to bring back Chrystler and General Motors, we brought em back right here in the state of Ohio and Michigan. He blew it, they’re gone. He blew it. And in fact they’re gone-

That is not true Not That did not happen.  And so, you take a look at what he’s actually done. He’s done very little.

His trade deals are the same way. He talks about these great trade deals. You know, he talks about the art of the deal. China’s made–perfected the art of the steal. We have a higher defecit with China now than we did before. We have the highest defi-trade deficit with Mexico.

[utters something]  Simply not true. Not true.

That is not true.  That is not true. None of that is true. None of that is true.

None of that is true. It’s totally discredited totally discredited, and by the way– That is not true.  But my son–

There’s not a fact. It’s been totally discr-edited [uttered something].  My son–

did nothing wrong in Barisma, and The only guy that  He doesn’t want to let me answer because he knows I have the truth. He–his position has been totally thoroughly discredited. By everybody–well, by the media, by our allies-by the World Bank, by evr- By everyone–has discredited it. As a matter of fact, even the people Who testified under oath. [uttered something] Even the people under-

He testified. Testified. … testified under oath in his administration said I did my job and I did it very well. I did it honorably. Everyo-well, I’ll give you the list of the people who testified. I’m sure you’ve already fired most

of them because they did a good job. Well, here’s Well, it’s hard to get any word in with this clown. Excuse me, this person. That is simply not true.

He didn’t–look, here’s the deal, we want to talk about families and ethics, I don’t want to do that, I mean, his family, we could talk about all night. His family’s already–

And that’s such a– 4This is not about my family or his family it’s about your family, the American people. He doesn’t. That’s not true. It doesn’t want to talk about what you need you, the American people. It’s about you. That’s what we’re talking about here. He didn’t take that. Try to be honest

That is absolutely not true Yeah, good point.

[Laughs]

It’s about equity and equality, it’s about decency, it’s about the constitution, and we have never walked away from trying to quie-require equity for everyone, equality for the whole of America. But, we’ve never accomplished it. But, we’ve never walked away from it like he has done. It is true, the reason I got in the race is when those people close your eyes, remember what those people look like coming out of the fields carrying torches, their veins bulging, spewting, just spewing anti-semetic bile and accompanied by the Klu Klux Klan. A young woman got killed. And I asked the President what he thought, he said there were very fine people on both sides

No president’s ever said anything like that. Now, in the second. The second point I’d make to you is that when Floyd was killed, when Mr. Floyd was killed, there was a peaceful protest in front of the White House. What did he do? He came out of his bunker, had the military do use tear gas on them so he could walk across to a church and hold up a Bible. And then what happened after that? The Bishop of that very church said that it was a disgrace. The general who was with him said all he all he ever wants to do is divide people, not unite people at all. This is a president who has used everything as a dog whistle, to try to generate racists hatred, racist division. This is a man who, in fact, you talk about helping

African-Americans, one in 1000 African Americans has been killed because of the crona…coronavirus. And if he doesn’t do something quickly, by the end of the year, one in 500 will have been killed. One in 500 African Americans.

This man is as a savior of African-Americans? This man cares at all? This man’s done virtually nothing. Look, the fact is that you have to look at what he’s talks about. You have to look at what he did.

And what he did has been disastrous for the African-American community.

That’s not true. I never said that

Yes, there is. There’s sys..systemic  injustice in this country, in education and work and in law enforcement

and the way in which it’s enforced. But look, the vast majority of police officers are good, decent, honorable men and women.  They risk their lives every day to take care of us, but there are some bad apples. And when they occur, when they find them, they have to be sorted out. They have to be held accountable.

They have to be held accountable. And what I’m going to do as President of the United States is call together an entire group of people at the White House, everything from the civil rights groups, to the police officers, to the police chiefs, and we’re going to work this out.

We’re going to work this out. So we changed the way in which we have more transparency, in when these things happen. These cops aren’t happy to see what happened to George Floyd. These cops aren’t happy to see what happened to Breonna Taylor. Most don’t like it,

but we have to have a system where people are held accountable when… And by the way, violence in response is never appropriate, never appropriate. Peaceful protest is, violence is never appropriate.

That is not peaceful protest. I did not say that

[uttered something]

Nobody’s doing that. He’s the racist.

Here’s the deal. I know a lot more about this-

The fact is that there is racial insensitivity. People have to be made aware of what other people feel like, what insults them, what is demeaning to them. It’s important people know. Many people don’t want to hurt other people’s feelings, but it makes a big difference. It makes a gigantic difference in the way a child is able to grow up and have a sense of self-esteem. It’s a little bit like how this guy and his friends look down on so many people. They look down their nose on people like Irish Catholics, like me, who grow up in Scranton. They look down on people who don’t have money. They look down on people who are of a different faith. They looked down on people who are a different color. In fact, we’re all Americans. The only way we’re going to bring this country together is bring everybody together. There’s nothing we cannot do, if we do it together.

We can take this on and we can defeat racism in American.

Oh my Lord. This is ridiculous Absolutely ridiculous

violent crime I’m in favor of law. You follow, and a little bit of order. Of course everyone’s in favor of law and order.  Law and order with justice, where people get treated  fairly And the fact of the matter is, crime went down seventeed–fifteen percent in our administration. It’s gone up on his watch.

Republican cities. Republic- 6 [uttered something]

We would run it the way  suburbs  He wouldn’t know a suburb unless you took a wrong turn. I was raised in the suburbs.

This is not 1950

All these dog whistles and racism don’t work anymore. Suburbs are by and large integrated. There’s many people today driving their kids to soccer practice and/or black and white and Hispanic in the same car as there have been any time in the past,

what really is a threat to the suburbs and their safety is his failure to deal with COVID. They’re dying in the suburbs. His failure to deal with the environment, they’re being flooded, they’re being burned out because his refusal to do anything. That’s why the suburbs are in trouble.

[uttered something]

Look, what I support are the police having the opportunity to deal with the problems they face and I’m totally opposed to defunding the police offices. As a matter of fact police, local police, the only one defunding in his budget calls for a $400 million cut in local law enforcement assistance. They need more assistance. They need when they show up for a 9-11 call to have someone with them as a psychologist or psychiatrist to keep them from having to use force and be able to talk people down.

We have to have community policing like we had before where the officers get to know the people in the communities. That’s when crime went down, it didn’t go up. It went down. And so we have to be…

That is not true. Look, that’s not true. Not true.

Look, we don’t have time to do anything except [uttered something]

[uttered something]

I don’t hold public office. Now I am a former vice president. I’ve made it clear. I’ve made it clear in my public statements that the violence should be prosecuted. It should be prosecuted and anyone who committed it should be prosecuted.

They can in fact take care of it if he just stay out of the way.

Here’s the thing”

And by the way, his own former spokesperson said,

And by the way his own former spokesperson said, “Riots and chaos and violence help he cause.” 3 I do 5 I think it–Kelly Anne Conway. She said that. And so, here’s the point. The point is that.

That’s what he is keeps trying to rile everything up. He doesn’t He doesn’t want to calm things down instead of going in and talking to people and saying, “Let’s get everybody together. Figure out how to deal with this.” What’s he do? He just pours gasoline in the fire constantly and every single solitary time.

Do it.

Say it, do it. Say it. Proud Boys

[Laughed] He’s own FBI Director said unlike white supremacist, Antifa is an idea not an organization, not a militia-

That’s what HIS FBI-

His FBI director said 6 Every body in your administration tells you the truth is a bad idea. You have no idea about anything.

[uttered something]

Under this president, we become weaker, sicker, poor, more divided and more violent. When I was vice president, we inherited a recession. I was asked to fix it. I did. We left him a booming economy and he caused the recession. With regard to being weaker, the fact is that I’ve gone head to head with Putin and made it clear to him we’re not going to take any of his stuff.

He’s Putin’s puppy. He still refuses to even say anything to Putin about the bounty on the heads of American soldiers. By the way, my son

He never keeps his word.

Can you get back 30 seconds? So thirdly, we’re poor. The billionaires have gotten much more wealthy by a tune of over $3- $400 billion more just since COVID.

You in the home, you got less you’re in more trouble than you were before. In terms of being more violent. When we were in office there were 15% less violence in America than there is today. He’s President United States. It’s on his watch. And with regard to more divided the nation, it can’t stay divided. We can’t be this way. And speaking of my son, the way you talk about the military, the way you talk about them being losers and being and and and  just being suckers. My son was in Iraq. He spent a year there. He got the Brown Star. He got the Conspicuous Service Medal. He was not a loser. He was a Patriot and the people left behind

there were heroes. And I resent-

I’m talking about my son, Beau Biden, you’re talking about Hunter?

He was not dishonorably discharged.

Not true That is simply not true My son, my son, like a lot of people at home had a drug problem. He’s overtaking it. He’s fixed it. He’s worked on it. And I’m proud of him, I’m proud of my son. But he wasn’t given tens of millions of dollars, that was totally discre-

Totally discredited. Totally discredited. So do I

That is not true. That report is totally discredited Mitt Romney on that committee said it wasn’t worth taxpayer’s money. That report was written for political reason. So would I.

He’s absolutely wrong, number one. Number two, if in fact, during our administration in the recovery act, I was in charge able to bring down the cost of renewable energy to cheaper than are as cheap as coal and gas and oil. Nobody’s going to build another coal fired plant in America. No one’s going to build another uh uh coal fire plant in America. They’re going to move to renewable energy. Number one, number two, we’re going to make sure that we are able to take the federal fleet and turn it into a fleet that’s run on their electric vehicles.

Making sure that we can do that, we’re going to put 500,000 charging stations in all of the highways that we’re going to be building in the future. We’re going to build a economy that in fact is going to provide for the ability of us to take 4 million buildings and make sure that they

in fact are weatherized in a way that in fact will they’ll emit significantly less gas and oil because the heat will not be going out. There’s so many things that we can do now to create thousands and thousands of jobs. We can get to net zero, in terms of energy production, by 2035. Not only not costing people jobs, creating jobs, creating millions of good-paying jobs. Not 15 bucks an hour, but prevailing wage, by having a new infrastructure that in fact, is green. And the first thing I will do, I will rejoin the Paris Accord. I will join the Paris Accord because with us out of it, look what’s happening. It’s all falling apart. And talk about someone who has no relationship with foreign policy. The rainforests of Brazil are being torn down, are being ripped down. More carbon is absorbed in that rainforest than every bit of carbon that’s emitted in the United States.

Instead of doing something about that, I would be gathering up and making sure we had the countries of the world coming up with $20 billion, and say, “Here’s $20 billion. Stop, stop tearing down the forest. And If you don’t, then you’re going to have significant economic consequences. Well he hadn’t drawn a line, he

He wants to make sure that methane’s not a problem. You can now emit more methane without it being a problem. Methane. This is a guy who says that you don’t have to have mileage standards for automobiles that exist now. This is the guy who says that,

It’s all true. And here’s the deal-

I’m talking about the Biden plan

No.

That is not-

Not true-

Not true

Not true

That is simply not the case-

What it’s going to do, it’s going to create thousands and millions of jobs. Good paying jobs. He doesn’t know how to do that. The fact is, it’s going to create millions of good paying jobs, and these tax incentives for people to weatherize, which he wants to get rid of.

It’s going to make the economy much safer. Look how much we’re paying now to deal with the hurricanes, deal with… By the way, he has an answer for hurricanes. He said, maybe we should drop a nuclear weapon on them, and they may- Yeah he did say that Here’s the deal

… we’re going to be in a position where we can create hard, hard, good jobs by making sure the environment is clean, and we all are in better shape. We spend billions of dollars now, billions of dollars, on floods, hurricanes, rising seas. We’re in real trouble. Look what’s happened just in the Midwest with these storms that come through and wipe out entire sections and counties in Iowa. They didn’t happen before. They’re because of global warming. We make up 15% of the world’s problem. But the rest of the world, we’ve got to get them to come along. That’s why we have to get back into the Paris Accord.

for forty seven-

That is not my plan The Green New Deal is not my plan. [uttered something]

That is not true. I-did not say that. Play it

The final question is, I can’t remember which of all his rantings

[uttered something]

The economy…

The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward. We’re not going to build plants that, in fact, are great

Pardon me?

No, I don’t support it. I support the Biden Plan I support the Biden Plan that I put forward. The Biden Plan, which is different than what he calls the radical Green New Deal

Prepare to let people vote. They should go to iwillvote.com, decide how they’re going to vote, when they’re going to vote, and what means by which they’re going to vote. His own Homeland Security director, and as well as the FBI director, says that there is no evidence at all that mail-in ballots are a source of being manipulated and cheating. They said that. The fact is that here are going to be millions of people because of COVID that are going to be voting by mail-in ballots like he does, by the way. He sits behind the Resolute Desk and sends his ballot to Florida, number one. Number two, we’re going to make sure that those people who want to vote in person are able to vote because there are enough poll watchers are there to make sure they can socially distance. The polls are open on time, and the polls stay open until the votes are counted. And this is all about trying to dissuade people from voting because he’s trying to confu- to scare people into thinking that it’s not going to be legitimate. Show up and vote. You will determine the outcome of this election. Vote, vote, vote. If you’re able to vote early in your state, vote early. If you’re able to vote in person, vote in person.

Vote whatever way is the best way for you, because you will… He cannot stop you from being able to determine the outcome of this election. And in terms of whether or not… When the votes are counted and they’re all counted, that will be accepted. If I win, that will be accepted. If I lose, that’ll be accepted. But by the way, if in fact he says, he’s not sure what he’s going to accept. Well, let me tell you something, it doesn’t matter, because if we get the votes, it’s going to be all over. He’s going to go. He can’t stay in power. It won’t happen. It won’t happen

So vote. Just make sure you understand, you have it in your control to determine what this country is going to look like the next four years. Is it going to change, or are you going to get four more years of these lies?

There is no…no. There is no evidence for that. There is no evidence to that. In five states, we had…Five states have had mail-in ballots for the last decade or more. Five, including two Republican states. And you don’t have to solicit the ballot. It’s sent to you. It’s sent to your home. What they’re saying is that it has to be a postmark by  the time, by electiond day. If it dodent’ get in by the 7th, 8th, 9th, it still should be counted. He’s just afraid of counting the votes

I’m concerned that any court would settle this because because here’s the deal. When you m-m-when you get a ballot and you fill it out, you’re supposed to have an affidavit. If you didn’t know, you have someone say that, this is me. You should be able to, if in fact you can verify that’s you before the ballot is thrown out, that’s sufficient to be able to count the ballot because someone made a mistake and not dotting the correct I. Who they voted for, testify, say who they voted for, say it’s you. That is totally legitimate. [uttered something]

[uttered something] Yes

Yes. And here’s the deal. We count the ballots, as you pointed out. Some of these ballots in some states can’t even be opened until election day. And if there’s thousands of ballots, it’s going to take time to do it. And by the way, our military… They’ve been voting by ballots since the end of the Civil War, in effect. And that’s what’s going to happen. Why is it, for them, somehow not fraudulent. It’s the same process. It’s honest. No one has established at all that there is fraud related to mail-in ballots, that somehow it’s a fraudulent process.

He has no idea what he’s talking about. Here’s the deal. The fact is, I will accept it, and he will too. You know why? Because once the winner is declared after all the ballots are counted, all the votes are counted, that’ll be the end of it. That’ll be the end of it. And if it’s me, in fact, fine. If it’s not me, I’ll support the outcome. And I’ll be a president, not just for the Democrats. I’ll be a president for Democrats and Republicans. And this guy-

What Did His Words Amount To?

Former Vice President Joe Biden spoke a total of 6,915 words.

  • 2,803 of his words, or approximately 41% of what JB said was a policy attack against President Donald Trump.
  • 986 of his words, or approximately 14% of what JB said was a personal attack against the President.
  • 347 of his words, or approximately .05% of what JB said was about his record.
  • 1085 of his words, or approximately 16% of what JB said was a statement about his policies.
  • 692 of his words, or approximately 2% of what JB said was a personal value or belief statement.
  • I think it’s also important to note that almost 27% of what JB said in the debate did not add to the debate because it did not declare any policies, records, personal values, or even attacks.

To Sum Up His Policy Statements

Below is a list of what former Vice President Joe Biden declared he would do. This is not an analysis of what is true or false or of what each statement actually means. It’s only a list of what he said.

  1. He will expand Obamacare and increase it.
  2. He will allow for private insurance.
  3. Obamacare will only be for those who are so poor they can get Medicaid or Medicare (or one or the other, it was hard to tell what he was saying).
  4. He would give businesses money for PPE and sanitation.
  5. He is going to eliminate the Trump tax cuts and invest in people who “need” help with the tax money (redistributing wealth).
  6. His 3 trillion dollar Biden Green New Deal plan would create 1 trillion in economic growth and create 7 million jobs.
  7. He said the Green New Deal will pay for itself.
  8. He will strengthen our trade with China, especially since they perfected the art of steel.
  9. The 1 trillion economic growth would be because he would only buy American–every penny of the 600 billion America spends on steel ships and buildings will be from American companies only.
  10. Corporate tax will be 28%.
  11. He will gather civil rights leaders and police officers at the White House to work things out.
  12. He is planning to have psychologists or psychiatrists (he wasn’t sure which one) follow police on calls to talk people down.
  13. He won’t allow any more coal fire plants in America, they will move to renewable energy.
  14. The federal fleet will be all electric cars under his administration.
  15. He’s going to put in 500,000 charging stations for electric cars across the highways.
  16. He is going to have 4 million buildings torn down or re-structured to be energy-efficient.
  17. He will rejoin the Paris Accord.
  18. He will send $20 billion to Brazil for the rain forest.

What did Vice President Mike Pence Say in the Debate?

As usual, I like to analyze what each candidate said. In this case, I have included Vice President Mike Pence’s words from the debate here and color-coded them so that we can clearly see what he said.

Key

This is how I have coded his words:

Bold, bigger letters are questions from Susan Page.

Orange letters are attacks against the policies of former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris.
Yellow letters are personal attacks against either Senator Kamala Harris or former Vice President Joe Biden. These have no place in a civil debate.
Purple letters are statements about his record, President Trump’s records, or about their values or beliefs.

Did He Answer the Questions?

I think it is really important to look at his answers to the questions. He did not give a response to several of Susan Page’s questions, avoiding the topics completely.

What He Said:

Why is the US death toll, as a percentage of our population, higher than that of almost every other wealthy country? And you have two minutes to respond without interruption.

Susan, thank you. And I want to thank the Commission and the University of Utah for hosting this event. And Senator Harris, it’s a privilege to be on the stage with you. And our nation has gone through a very challenging time this year. But I want the American people to know that from the very first day, President Donald Trump has put the health of America first. Before there were more than five cases in the United States, all people who had returned from China, President Donald Trump did what no other American president had ever done. And that was, he suspended all travel from China, the second largest economy in the world. Now, Senator Joe Biden opposed that decision. He said it was xenophobic and hysterical. But I can tell you having led the white house coronavirus task force that that decision alone by President Trump bought us invaluable time to stand up the greatest national mobilization since World War Two.

And I believe it saved hundreds of thousands of American lives. Because with that time, we were able to reinvent testing. More than 115 million tests had been done to date. We were able to see to the delivery of billions of supplies, so our doctors and nurses had the resources support they needed. And we began, really, before the month of February we started to develop a vaccine and to develop medicines and therapeutics that have been saving lives all along the way. And under President Trump’s leadership, Operation Warp Speed, we believe we’ll have literally tens of millions of doses of a vaccine before the end of this year. The reality is, when you look at the Biden plan, it reads an awful lot like what President Trump, and I, and our task force has been doing every step of the way. And quite frankly, when I look at their plan that talks about advancing testing, creating new PPE, developing a vaccine, it looks a little bit like plagiarism, which is something Joe Biden knows a little bit about. And I think the American people know that this is a president who has put the health-

[speaking over time] … of America first. And the American people, I believe with my heart, can be proud-

[speaking over time]… of the sacrifices they have made. It’s saved countless American lives-

Susan, I have to weigh in here-

I have to weigh in.

There’s not a day gone by that I haven’t thought of every American family that’s lost a loved one. And I want all of you to know that you’ll always be in our hearts and in our prayers. But when you say what the American people have done over these last eight months, hasn’t worked, that’s a great disservice to the sacrifices the American people have made-

But the reality… If I may finish, Senator. The reality is Dr. Fauci said everything that he told the president in the Oval Office, the president told the American. Now President Trump, I will tell you, has boundless confidence in the American people, and he always spoke with confidence that we’d get through this together. But when you say it hasn’t worked… When Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Birx, and our medical experts came to us in the second week of March, they said, if the president didn’t take the unprecedented step of shutting down roughly half of the American economy, that we could lose 2.2 million Americans. That’s the reality.

[speaking over time] They also said to us, if we did everything right, Susan, we could still lose more than 200,000 Americans.

[speaking over time] One life lost is too many, Susan. But the American people, I believe, deserve credit for the sacrifices that they have made, putting the health of their family and their neighbors first, our doctors, our nurses, our first responders.

[speaking over time] And I’m going to speak up on behalf of what the American people have done.

How can you expect Americans to follow the administration’s safety guidelines to protect themselves from COVID when you at the White House have not been doing so?

Well, the American people have demonstrated over the last eight months, that when given the facts, they’re willing to put the health of their families and their neighbors and people they don’t even know first. President Trump and I have great confidence in the American people and their ability to take that information and put it into practice. In the height of the epidemic when we were losing a heartbreaking number of 2,500 Americans a day, we surged resources to New Jersey and New York and New Orleans and Detroit. We told the American people what needed to be done, and the American people made the sacrifices. When the outbreak in the Sun Belt happened this summer, again, Americans stepped forward. But the reality is the work of the President of the United States goes on. A vacancy on the Supreme Court of the United States has come upon us, and the President introduced Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

If I may say, that Rose Garden event, been a great deal of speculation about it. My wife, Karen and I were there and honored to be there. Many of the people who were at that event, Susan, actually were tested for Coronavirus, and it was an outdoor event, which all of our scientists regularly and routinely advise. The difference here is President Trump and I trust the American people to make choices in the best interest of their health. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris consistently talk about mandates, and not just mandates with the Coronavirus, but a government takeover of healthcare, the Green New Deal, all government control. We’re about freedom and respecting the freedom of the American people.

Which we’ve always done.

Vice President Pence, have you had a conversation or reached an agreement with President Trump about safeguards or procedures when it comes to the issue of presidential disability? And if not, do you think you should? You have two minutes without interruption.

Well, Susan, thank you. Although, I would like to go back.

Well, thank you, but I would like to go back because the reality is that we’re going to have a vaccine, Senator, in record time. In unheard of time, in less than a year. We have five companies in phase three clinical trials. And we’re right now producing tens of millions of doses. So the fact that you continue to undermine public confidence in a vaccine, if the vaccine emerges during the Trump administration, I think is unconscionable. And Senator, I just ask you, stop playing politics with people’s lives. The reality is that we will have a vaccine, we believe, before the end of this year. And it will have the capacity to save countless American lives. And your continuous undermining of confidence in a vaccine is just, it’s unacceptable. And let me also say, the reality is, when you talk about failure in this administration, we actually do know what failure looks like in a pandemic.

It was 2009. The Swine flu arrived in the United States. Thankfully, it ended up not being as lethal as the Coronavirus. But before the end of the year, when Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, not seven and a half million people contracted the Swine flu, 60 million Americans contracted the Swine flu. If the Swine flu had been as lethal as the Coronavirus in 2009 when Joe Biden was Vice President, we would have lost 2 million American lives. His own chief of staff, Ron Klain would say last year that it was pure luck that they did, “Everything possible wrong.” And we learned from that. They left the strategic national stockpile empty. They left an empty and hollow plan, but we still learn from it, and I think the American people, I’m going to say again, can be proud of what we have done. And Senator, please stop undermining confidence in a vaccine.

And in recent days, President Trump’s doctors have given misleading answers, or refused to answer basic questions about his health. And my question to each of you in turn is, is this information voters deserve to know? Vice President Pence, would you like to go first?

Well, Susan, thank you. And let me say on behalf of the President and the First Lady, how moved we’ve all been by the outpouring of prayers and concern for the President. And I do believe it’s emblematic of the prayers and the concern that have ushered forth for every American impacted by the Coronavirus. But the care of the President received at Walter Reed Hospital, the White House doctors was exceptional. And the transparency that they practiced all along the way will continue. The American people have a right to know about-

the health and well-being of their president, and we’ll continue to do that. But I’m just extremely grateful and was more than a little moved by the broad and bipartisan support. And Senator, I want to thank you and Joe Biden for your expressions and genuine concern. And I also want to congratulate you, as I did on that phone call, on the historic nature of your nomination.

I never expected to be on this stage four years ago, so I know the feeling, but the reality is we’ve got an election before the American people in the midst of this challenging year and the stakes have never been higher, but I think the choice has never been here.

[Interruption] Susan, Susan-

Well, look, I respect the fact that Joe Biden spent 47 years in public life. I respect your public service as well.

The American people have a president who was a businessman, he’s a job creator. Who’s paid tens of millions of dollars in taxes, payroll taxes, property taxes. He’s created tens of thousands of American jobs. And the President said those public reports are not accurate. And the President’s also released literally stacks of financial disclosures the American people can review just as the law allows. But the distinction here is that Joe Biden, 47 years in public service compared to President Donald Trump, who brought all of that experience four years ago-

[speaking over time] … and turned this economy around by cutting taxes, rolling back regulations-

[speaking over time] … unleashing American energy, fighting for free and fair trade. And all of that’s on the line-

[speaking over time] … if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are elected.

When President Trump and I took office, America had gone through the slowest economic recovery since the Great Depression. It was when Joe Biden was vice president, they tried to tax and spend, and regulate, and bail our way back to a growing economy. President Trump cut taxes across the board. Despite what Senator Harris says, the average American family of four had $2,000 in savings in taxes. And with the rise in wages that occurred, most predominantly for blue collar, hardworking Americans, the average household income for a family of four increased by $4,000 following President Trump’s tax cuts. But America, you just heard Senator Harris tell you, on day one, Joe Biden’s going to raise your taxes. It’s really remarkable to think-

I mean, right after a time where we’re going through a pandemic that lost 22 million jobs at the height, we’ve already added back 11.6 million jobs because we had a president who cut taxes, rolled back regulation, unleashed American energy, fought for free and fair trade and secured four trillion dollars from the Congress of the United States to give direct payments to families, save 50 million jobs through the Paycheck Protection Program. We literally have spared no expense to help the American people and the American worker through this. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want to raise taxes. They want to bury our economy under a two trillion dollar Green New Deal, which you were one of the original co-sponsors of in the United States Senate. They want to abolish fossil fuels, and ban fracking, which would cost hundreds of thousands of American jobs all across the heartland. And Joe Biden wants to go back to the economic surrender to China. When we took office, half of our international trade deficit was with China alone. And Joe Biden wants to repeal all of the tariffs that President Trump put into effect to fight for American jobs and American workers. Joe Biden says democracy is on the ballot. Make no mistake about it, the American economy, the American comeback is on the ballot with four more years of growth and opportunity and four more years of President Donald Trump,

[speaking over time] 2021 is going to be the biggest economic year in this country.

[interruption] He said he’s going to repeal the Trump tax cuts.

The important thing is you said the truth. Joe Biden has said it twice in the debate last week that he’s going to repeal the Trump tax cuts. That was tax cuts that gave the average working family $2,000 in a tax break every single year-

[interruption] Senator, that’s the math.

[interruption] Is he the only going to repeal part of the Trump tax cuts?

[interruption] Please.

[interruption] Susan, please.

[interruption] Not so.

Well. I hope we have a chance to talk about healthcare because Obamacare was a disaster, and the American people remember it well. And President Trump and I have a plan to improve healthcare and protect preexisting conditions for every American. But look, Senator Harris, you’re entitled to your own opinion, but you’re not entitled to your own facts. You yourself said on multiple occasions when you were running for president, that you would ban fracking. Joe Biden looked at a supporter in the eye and pointed and said, “I guarantee, I guarantee that we will abolish fossil fuels.”

They have a $2 trillion version of the Green New Deal, Susan, that your newspaper, USA Today, said really wasn’t that very different from the original Green New Deal. More taxes, more regulation, banning fracking, abolishing fossil fuel, crushing American energy and economic surrender to China is a prescription for economic decline. President Trump and I will keep America growing, the V-shape recovery that’s underway right now will continue with four more years of President Donald Trump

Do you believe as the scientific community has concluded, that man-made climate change has made wildfires bigger, hotter, and more deadly and have made hurricanes wetter, slower and more damaging? You have two minutes uninterrupted.

Thank you, Susan. Well, first, I’m very proud of our record on the environment, on conservation. According to all of the best estimates, our air and land are cleaner than any time ever recorded. Our water is among the cleanest in the world. And just a little while ago, the president signed the Outdoors Act. It’s the largest investment in our public lands and public parks in 100 years. So President Trump has made a commitment to conservation and to the environment.

Now with regard to climate change, the climate is changing, but the issue is what’s the cause and what do we do about it? President Trump has made it clear that we’re going to continue to listen to the science. Now Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would put us back in the Paris Climate Accord. They’d impose the Green New Deal, which would crush American energy, would increase the energy costs of American families in their homes, and literally would crush American jobs.

And President Trump and I believe that the progress that we have made in a cleaner environment has been happening precisely because we have a strong, free market economy. What’s remarkable is the United States has reduced CO2 more than the countries that are still in the Paris Climate Accord, but we’ve done it through innovation. And we’ve done it through natural gas and fracking, which Senator, the American people can go look at the record. I know Joe Biden says otherwise now, as you do, but the both of you repeatedly committed to abolishing fossil fuel and banning of fracking.

And so by creating the kind of American innovation, we’re actually steering toward a stronger and better environment. With regard to wildfires, President Trump and I believe that forest management has to be front and center. And even Governor Gavin Newsom from your state has agreed, we’ve got to work on forest management. And with regard to hurricanes, the National Oceanic Administration tells us that actually as difficult as they are, there are no more hurricanes today than there were 100 years ago-

[speaking over time] … but many of the climate alarmists-

[speaking over time] … use hurricanes and wildfires to try and sell the goods of a Green New Deal. And President Trump and I are going to always put-

[speaking over time] … American jobs and American workers first.

Vice President Pence, do you believe that climate change poses an existential threat?

As I said, Susan, the climate is changing. We’ll follow the science. But once again, Senator Harris is denying the fact that they’re going to raise taxes on every American. Joe Biden said twice in the debate last week, that on day one, he was going to repeal the Trump tax cuts. Those tax cuts delivered $2,000 in tax relief to the average family of four across America. And with regard to banning fracking, I just recommend that people look at the record. You yourself said repeatedly that you would ban fracking. You were the first Senate co-sponsor of the Green New Deal. And while Joe Biden denied the green new deal, Susan, thank you for pointing out. The Green New Deal is on their campaign website.

And as USA TODAY said, it’s essentially the same plan as you co-sponsored with AOC when she submitted it in the Senate. And you just heard the Senator say that she’s going to resubmit America to the Paris climate accord. Look, the American people have always cherished our environment and will continue to cherish it. We’ve made great progress reducing CO2 emissions through American innovation and the development of natural gas through fracking. We don’t need a massive $2 trillion Green New Deal that would impose all new mandates on American businesses and American families.

[speaking over time] Joe Biden wants us to retrofit-

[speaking over time] Four million business-

[speaking over time] Buildings. It makes no sense. It will cost jobs. President Trump-

[speaking over time] He’s going to put America first. He’s going to put jobs first and we’re going to take care of our environment and follow the science.

Well, I’d love to respond. Look, lost the trade war with China? Joe Biden never fought it. Joe Biden has been a cheerleader for communist China over the last several decades. And again, Senator Harris, you’re entitled to your opinion. You’re not entitled to your own facts. When Joe Biden was vice-president, we lost 200,000 manufacturing jobs. And president Obama said they were never coming back. He said, we needed a magic wand to bring them back. In our first three years after we cut taxes-

[speaking over time] Roll back regulation, unleashed American energy. This administration saw 500,000 manufacturing-

[speaking over time] Jobs created, and that’s exactly the kind of growth we’re going to continue to see as we bring our nation through-

[speaking over time] This pandemic.

[speaking over time] A Green New Deal-

[speaking over time] You’re passing new mandates, your Paris Climate Accord. It’s going to kill jobs this time, just like it killed jobs-

Vice President Pence, how would you describe our fundamental relationship with China? Competitors? Adversaries? Enemies? You have two minutes.

Thank you, Susan. Well, before I leave that, let me speak to voting records if I can. Everybody knows that NAFTA costs literally thousands of American factories to close. We saw automotive jobs go South of the border. President Trump fought to renegotiate NAFTA. In the United States, Mexico and Canada the agreement is now the law of the land. American people deserve to know Senator Kamala Harris was one of only 10 members of the Senate to vote against the USMCA. It was a huge win for American auto workers. It was a huge win for American farmers, especially dairy in the upper Midwest. But Senator you said it didn’t go far enough on climate change, you put your radical environmental agenda ahead of American auto workers and a head of American jobs. I think the American people deserve to know that it’s probably why Newsweek magazine said that Kamala Harris was the most liberal member of the United States Senate in 2019, more liberal than Bernie Sanders, more liberal than any of the others in the United States Senate.

So now with regard to China, Susan first and foremost, China is to blame for the coronavirus and President Trump is not happy about it. He’s made that very clear, made it clear again today that China and the world health organization did not play straight with the American people. They did not let our personnel into China to get information on the Coronavirus until the middle of February. Fortunately, President Trump in dealing with China from the outset of this administration, standing up to China that had been taking advantage of America for decades in the wake of Joe Biden’s cheerleading for China. President Trump made that decision before the end of January to suspend all travel from China. And again, the American people deserve to know Joe Biden opposed President Trump’s decision to suspend all travel from China. He said it was hysterical. He said it was-

[speaking over time] The President Trump has stood up-

[speaking over time] To China. We’re going to continue to stand strong.

[speaking over time] We want to improve the relationship, but we’re going to level the playing field and we’re going to hold China accountable-

[speaking over time] for what they did to America with the coronavirus.

[interruption] Not true.

Thank you. Well, President Trump kept his word when we moved the American embassy to Jerusalem, the capital of the state of Israel. When Joe Biden was vice president, they promised to do that and they never did. We stood strong with our allies, but we’ve been demanding. NATO is now contributing more to our common defense than ever before thanks to President Trump’s leadership. We’ve strengthened our alliances across the Asia Pacific, and we’ve stood strong against those who would do us harm. When President Trump came into office, ISIS had captured an area of the middle East, the size of Pennsylvania, but President Trump unleashed the American military and our armed forces destroy the ISIS caliphate and took down their leader, al-Baghdadi without one American casualty. Al-Baghdadi was responsible for the death of thousands, but notably America’s hearts today are with the family of Kayla Mueller. Her parents, which are here with us tonight in Salt Lake City. Today, two of the ISIS killers responsible for Kayla Mueller’s murder were brought to justice in the United States.

Jihadi John was killed on the battlefield along with the other beetle. The reality is that when Joe Biden was vice president, we had an opportunity to save Kayla Mueller. Breaks my heart to reflect on it, but the military came into the oval office, presented a plan, they said they knew where Kayla was. Baghdadi had held her for 18 months, abused or mercilessly before they killed her, but when Joe Biden was Vice President they hesitated for a month, and when armed forces finally went in, it was clear she’d been moved two days earlier. And her family says with a heart that broke the heart of every American, that if president Donald Trump had been president, they believe Kayla would be alive today.

[speaking over time] But we we destroyed the ISIS caliphate and you talk about re-entering the Iran nuclear deal. I mean the last administration transferred $1.8 billion to the leading state sponsor of terrorism.

[speaking over time] President Donald Trump got us out of the deal-

[speaking over time] … And when Qassem Soleimani was traveling to Baghdad-

[speaking over time] … To do harm to Americans, President Donald Trump took him out-

[speaking over time] And America is safer, our allies are safer and the American people know president Donald Trump will never hesitate to take action

[interruption] I really have to respond to that. She has-

[interruption] Well, I’ve got to have more than that. Look-

Slanders against President Donald Trump regarding men and women of our armed forces are absurd.

My son is in captain in the United States Marine Corps. My son-in-law’s deployed in the United States Navy. I can assure all of you with sons and daughters serving in our military, President Donald Trump, not only respects, but reveres all of those who serve in our armed forces and any suggestion, otherwise is ridiculous. Let me also say the American people deserve to know-Joe Biden

Go right ahead.

If Roe V Wade is overturned, what would you want Indiana to do? Would you want your home state to ban all abortions? You have two minutes uninterrupted.

Well, thank you for the question, but I’ll use a little bit of my time to respond to that very important issue before. The American people deserve to know Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian general was responsible for the death of hundreds of American service members. When the opportunity came, we saw him headed to Baghdad to kill more Americans. President Trump didn’t hesitate and Qassem Soleimani is gone, but you deserve to know the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris actually criticized the decision to take out Qassem Soleimani. it’s really inexplicably, but with regard to Joe Biden, it’s explainable because history records a Joe Biden actually opposed the raid against a Osama bin Ladin. It’s absolutely essential that we have a commander in chief who will not hesitate to act to protect American lives and to protect American service members, and that’s what you have in President Donald Trump.

Now with regard to the Supreme court of the United States, let me say that President Trump and I could not be more enthusiastic about the opportunity to see Amy Coney Barrett become Justice Amy Coney Barrett, and she’s a brilliant woman and she will bring a lifetime of experience and a sizeable American family to the Supreme court of the United States, and our hope is in the hearing next week, unlike Justice Cavenaugh received with treatment from you and others, that we hope she gets a fair hearing. And we particularly hope that we don’t see the kind of attacks on her Christian faith that we saw before. I mean, the Democrat chairman of the Judiciary Committee before, when Judge Barrett was being confirmed for the court of appeals, expressed concern that the dogma of her faith lived loudly and her, and Dick Durbin of Illinois said that it was a concern. Senator, I know one of our judicial nominees you actually attacked, because they were a member of the Catholic Knights of Columbus. Just because the Knights of Columbus holds pro-life views-

So, my hope is that when the hearing takes place that-

… That Judge Amy Coney Barrett will be respectfully voted and confirmed into the Supreme court of the United States.

So, tell us specifically, how would your administration protect Americans with preexisting conditions to have access to affordable insurance if the Affordable Care Act is struck down?

Well, thank you, Susan, but let me just say, addressing your very first question. I couldn’t be more proud to serve as vice president to a president who stands without apology for the sanctity of human life. I’m pro-life. I don’t apologize for it, and this is another one of those cases where there’s such a dramatic contrast. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris support taxpayer funding of abortion all the way up to the moment of birth. Late term abortion. They want to increase funding to Planned Parenthood of America. For our part, I would never presume how Judge Amy Coney Barrett would rule on the Supreme Court of the United States, but we’ll continue to stand strong for the right to life. When you speak about the Supreme Court, though, I think the American people really deserve an answer, Senator Harris. Are you and Joe Biden going to pack the court if Judge Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed? I mean, there’ve been 29 vacancies on the Supreme Court during presidential election years from George Washington to Barack Obama.

Presidents have nominated in all 29 cases, but your party is actually openly advocating, adding seats to the Supreme court, which has had nine seats for 150 years if you don’t get your way. This is a classic case of if you can’t win by the rules, you’re going to change the rules. Now you’ve refused to answer the question. Joe Biden has refused to answer the question-

So I think the American people would really like to know if Judge Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed at the Supreme Court of the United States. Are you and Joe Biden, if somehow you win this election, going to pack the Supreme Court to get your way?

No, I’d like you to answer the question.

People, Susan, are voting right now. They’d like to know if you and Joe Biden are going to pack the Supreme Court if you don’t get your way in this nomination.

You, once again, gave a non-answer. Joe Biden gave a non-answer.

You know the people deserve a straight answer, and if you haven’t figured it out yet, the straight answer is they are going to pack the Supreme Court if they somehow win this election. Men and women, I got to tell you people across this country, if you cherish our Supreme Court, if you cherish the separation of powers, you need to reject the Biden Harris ticket come November the third, reelect President Donald Trump, and we’ll stand by that separation powers in a nine seats Supreme Court.

Please.

I just want the record to reflect she never answered the question. Maybe in the next debate Joe Biden will answer the question, but I think the American people know the answer.

Well, our heart breaks for the loss of any innocent American life and the family of Breonna Taylor has our sympathies. But I trust our justice system, a grand jury that refuse the evidence. And it really is remarkable that as a former prosecutor, you would assume that an impaneled grand jury looking at all the evidence, got it wrong. But you’re entitled to your opinion, Senator. I think, and with regard to George Floyd, there’s no excuse for what happened to George Floyd. Justice will be served, but there’s also no excuse for the rioting and looting that followed. I mean, it really is astonishing. Flora Westbrook is with us here tonight in Salt Lake city. Just a few weeks ago, I stood at what used to be her salon, it was burned to the ground by rioters and looters. And Flora is still trying to put her life back together.

And I must tell you, this presumption that you hear consistently from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, that America is systemically racist, and that as Joe Biden said that he believes that law enforcement has an implicit bias against minorities is a great insult to the men and women who serve in law enforcement. And I want everyone to know who puts on the uniform of law enforcement every day, President Trump and I stand with you. And it is remarkable that when Senator Tim Scott tried to pass a police reform bill, brought together a group of Republicans and Democrats, Senator Harris, you got up and walked out of the room and then you filibustered Senator Tim Scott’s bill on the Senate floor that would have provided new accountability, new repeat resources. We don’t have to choose between supporting law enforcement, proving public safety and supporting our African-American neighbors and all of our minorities. Under President Trump’s leadership-

We’ll always stand with law enforcement and we’ll do what we’ve done-

From day one, it is improve the lives of African-Americans, record unemployment, record investments in education.

We’ll fight for school choice for all of

Not. Not true.

Thank you, Susan. I appreciate that very much. I think this is one of the things that makes people dislike the media so much in this country, Susan, is that you selectively edit just like Senator Harris did, comments that President Trump and I and others on our side made. I mean, Senator Harris conveniently omitted after the President made comments about people on either side of the debate over monuments, he condemned the KKK, neo-Nazis and white supremacists and has done so repeatedly. You’re concerned that he doesn’t condemn neo-Nazis. President Trump has Jewish grandchildren. His daughter and son-in-law are Jewish. This is a President who respects and cherishes all of the American people.

But you talk about having personally prosecuted. I’m glad you brought up your record, Senator.

I really need to make this point. When you were DA in San Francisco, when you left office, African-Americans were 19 times more likely to be prosecuted for minor drug offenses than whites and Hispanics. When you were Attorney General of California, you increased the disproportionate incarceration of blacks in California.

You did nothing on criminal justice reform in California. You didn’t lift a finger to pass the first step back on Capitol Hill. I mean, the reality is your record speaks for itself.

President Trump and I have fought for criminal justice before-

We fought for educational choice and opportunities for African-Americans and all of our members.

And we’ll do it for four more years.

If vice president Biden is declared the winner and president Trump refuses to accept a peaceful transfer of power, what would be your role and responsibility as vice president? What would you personally do? You have two minutes.

Well, Susan, first and foremost, I think we’re going to win this election. Because while Joe Biden and Kamala Harris rattle off a long litany of the establishment in Washington, DC and establishment that Joe Biden’s been a part of for 47 years, president Donald Trump has as launched a movement of everyday Americans from every walk of life. And I have every confidence that the same Americans that delivered that historic victory in 2016, they see this president’s record where we rebuild our military. We revived our economy through tax cuts and rolling back regulation, fighting for fair trade, unleashing American energy. We appointed conservatives to our federal courts at every level. And we stood with the men and women of law enforcement every single day. And I think that movement of Americans has only grown stronger in the last four years.

But when you talk about accepting the outcome of the election, I must tell you. Senator, your party has spent the last three and a half years trying to overturn the results of the last election. It’s amazing. When Joe Biden was vice president of the United States, the FBI actually spied on president Trump and my campaign. I mean, there were documents released this week that the CIA actually made a referral to the FBI, documenting that those allegations were coming from the Hillary Clinton campaign. And of course, we’ve all seen the avalanche, what you put the country through for the better part of three years, until it was found that there was no obstruction, no collusion, case closed. And then Senator Harris, you and your colleagues in the Congress tried to impeach the president of the United States over a phone call. And now Hillary Clinton has actually said to Joe Biden that, in her words, under no circumstances, should he concede the election.

So let me just say, I think we’re going to win this election. President Trump and I are fighting every day in courthouses to prevent Joe Biden and Kamala Harris from changing the rules and creating this universal mail in voting that’ll create a massive opportunity for voter fraud. And we have a free and fair election. We know we’re going to have confidence in it. And I believe in all my heart that president Donald Trump is going to be reelected for four more years.

Brooklyn, it’s a wonderful question. And let me just commend you for taking an interest in public life. I started following the news when I was very young. And in America, we believe in a free and open exchange of debate. And we celebrate that. It’s how we’ve created literally the freest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world. I would tell you that, don’t assume that what you’re seeing on your local news networks is synonymous with the American people.

I look at the relationship between Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the late justice who we just lost from the Supreme Court, and the late justice Antonin Scalia. They were on polar opposites on the Supreme Court of the United States. One very liberal one, very conservative. But what’s been learned since her passing was the two of them and their families were the very closest of friends. Here in America, we can disagree. We can debate vigorously as Senator Harris and I have on this stage tonight. But when the debate is over, we come together as Americans. And that’s what people do, in big cities and small towns all across this country. So I just want to encourage you, Brooklyn. I want to tell you that we’re going to work every day to have government as good as our people, and the American people each and every day. Love a good debate. We love a good argument. But we always come together and are always there for one another in times of need. And we’ve especially learned that through the difficulties of this year.

What Did His Words Amount To?

In the end, Vice President Mike Pence spoke a total of 6,026 words.

  • 2,293 words, or approximately 38% of what Vice President Mike Pence said was a policy attack on either former Vice President Joe Biden or Senator Kamala Harris.
  • 44 words, or .07% of what Vice President Mike Pence said was a personal attack on either Vice President Joe Biden or Senator Kamala Harris.
  • 1,618 words, or 27% of what Vice President Mike Pence said was about his record, President Trump’s record, or about their personal values or beliefs.
  • 621 words, or 10% of what Vice President Mike Pence said was about their policy plans. So few words on the most important part of a presidential debate!

To Sum Up His Policy Statements

Below is a list of what Vice President Mike Pence declared they would do. This is not an analysis of what is true or false or of what each statement actually means. It’s only a list of what he said.

  1. They will have tens of millions of doses of a vaccine before the end of the year.
  2. They won’t be making public health mandates because they trust the American people to make choices in the best interest of their health.
  3. They want to respect the freedom of the American people.
  4. They will continue to share about the health and well-being of the president openly.
  5. The American economy will continue to grow and provide opportunities if President Trump is elected for four more years and 2021 will be the biggest economic year in this country.
  6. They will provide a plan for healthcare that includes protecting people with pre-existing conditions.
  7. They have made a commitment to the preservation of the environment and they will listen to the science.
  8. They will continue to encourage American innovation that helps the environment.
  9. They will make sure that forest management is improved to prevent future fires.
  10. They will always put America and American jobs and American workers first.
  11. They will keep increasing manufacturing jobs.
  12. They will continue to be strong against China. They want to improve the relationship with China but will also hold them accountable for Coronavirus.
  13. They will not hesitate to protect American lives and service members.
  14. They will continue to stand strong for the sanctity of human life.
  15. They will stand by the separation of powers in a nine seat Supreme Court.
  16. They will support and stand by law enforcement.
  17. They don’t have to choose between supporting law enforcement, providing public safety and supporting minorities.
  18. They will continue to improve the lives of African Americans through record unemployment and record investments in education.
  19. They will fight for education choice for African Americans and for everyone.

I’d like to go through these statements one-by-one in another post, because I think that they require some analysis and explanation. For now, I will leave you with his words. After reading his color-coded words, what are your thoughts?

If Chris Wallace Had Followed the Debate Rules…

After the first time watching the Presidential Debate, I believed, as most of America did, that President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden did an awful lot of interrupting, but the President did far more. This is what Chris Wallace told them and us, the audience. This is what it seemed like, if we weren’t carefully following the debate format, with timers in hand. This first paragraph may upset you, because you believe what you saw “with your own eyes” and heard “with your own ears.” Sadly, even your eyes and ears can be manipulated through the way a debate is managed and filmed. I hope that, no matter your political preference, you would want a fair and accurately represented debate for both parties.

I hope that, no matter your political preference, you would want a fair and accurately represented debate for both parties.

I have now watched the debate three times, making note of times, following the debate format carefully. I created a spreadsheet with every word uttered and spoken in the debate, by each person, in 15 second chunks. This took hours of analysis. I did this because I want to know the truth. What really happened, vs. what Chris Wallace, and the intentional camera angles (that’s another subject) tried to make us believe? (If you are interested in getting a copy of my debate spreadsheet, donate at least $5 to this site and make sure I have your email address.)

As a former NCFCA debate mom who has judged many debate rounds (both Team Policy and Lincoln Douglas), I felt equipped to use my debate-flowing skills and follow what these men were saying. As a mom who has kept time for debates, and carefully followed the debate format, I was appalled at the poor job that Chris Wallace did in moderating this debate.

The Rules, Laid Out by Chris Wallace for Both Candidates, Which He, Himself Did Not Follow

At the beginning of the debate, Mr. Wallace stated the debate format rules at the beginning:

“This debate is sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates. The Commission has designed the format, six roughly 15 minute segments with two minute answers from each candidate to the first question, then open discussion for the rest of each segment. Both campaigns have agreed to these rules.”

If Mr. Wallace had followed these rules, the entire debate should have consisted of six total questions, but he asked many more.

Also, “Open Discussion” implies that the candidates would be conversing back and forth, without the inclusion of any questions, commentary or debating from the moderator, unless the candidates were breaking the rules. Unfortunately, there were not any rules laid out for this Open Discussion time. I assumed the candidates would be sharing this Open Discussion time equally.

How Chris Wallace Broke the Rules and Failed as a Moderator

Don’t get me wrong here. Both candidates did interrupt each other. In fact, they did this so often, that I felt nauseated watching the debate a third time through. Their behavior was deplorable, to use Hillary Clinton’s word. I believe that these men were disrespectful and such behavior has no place in the high and honorable position of presidency. Still, Chris Wallace added to the ugliness of the night by not doing the things a moderator should.

  1. He Didn’t Tell the Candidates When Their Time Started and Ended

This is the basic job of the moderator: set the timer and tell the candidates who is supposed to be talking during each section. Otherwise, it appeared as though one person was interrupting another when it was really still their time to speak. This happened so often that I really wonder if Chris Wallace did it intentionally.

As a debate mom, we would set the timers and speak loud and clear “You have eight minutes” or “five minutes” depending on the round. We would give hand signals to the debaters as their time went down, so that they knew how much time they had left. The timer would go off when the time was done, and everyone in the room knew it was time for the speaker to stop talking. If the speaker didn’t stop, points were taken away from their score as a penalty.

Chris Wallace did not state clearly whose time it was or when their time had ended. People called this debate a “train wreck,” and I agree–but a train cannot run smoothly where there is no track. Chris Wallace, as the moderator, was to provide the track–the structure throughout the debate–and he failed to do so.

2. He Didn’t Allow Equal Time for Each Candidate for Each Question

This can be frustrating to a speaker, because they have things they want to say. When a speaker feels as though the moderator is disrespecting their time and treating them unfairly, the speaker will often begin to butt in when it is not his turn, just to make up for the time he should have had according to the rules.

Sometimes a candidate didn’t get a chance to answer a question at all. Often, he would cut off President Trump’s time early and say that it was Vice President Biden’s turn to speak.

3. He Asked Too Many Questions

If he followed the rules set up by the Commission on Presidential Debates, he would have asked one single question, allowed each candidate two minutes of uninterrupted time, and then he would have allowed for open dialogue.

Instead, Mr. Wallace asked a question, sometimes would interrupt and ask another question or two in the middle of a candidate’s two minutes to speak, would ask a different question to the next candidate, and then he would ask more questions to JB during “Open Discussion,” and would not allow for equal time for DT to answer these new questions. I was not aware, from the rules, that “Open Discussion” included more questions from Chris Wallace. I’m not sure if the candidates were clear on this, either.

4. “Open Discussion” is Bound to Be a Mess

Our student debaters in NCFCA were not ever given “Open Discussion” time. After one speaker presented a speech, a member from the other team had two minutes to ask questions. Then the questioner would sit down, formulate a quick rebuttal speech in their allotted time, and then stand to present it.

The kids, ages 12-18, who debated in the NCFCA tournaments were more professional and more impressive than President Trump or Vice President Biden. And, I believe the clear structure added to their appearance of professionalism.

“Open Discussion” allows for the “squeaky wheel,” the loudest, most aggressive speaker in the room, to dominate the time. Or, as often happened in this debate, it allows for the candidate who the moderator favors to have more speaking time, while the other candidate can only “interrupt” to get a word in. Chris Wallace typically made it appear as though the “Open Discussion” time was Vice President Joe Biden’s time by asking him more questions, and by stating “Let him speak” when the President tried to say anything. “Open Discussion” should have been equal, and no one candidate should have been presented more questions during that time period.

Ultimately, “Open Discussion” forces the candidates to interrupt each other just to get a word in. There is no way to sound respectful when one candidate is hogging the whole time period. And, how long the time period was going to be, nobody knew. Chris Wallace would decide on a whim to stop one candidate (Perhaps because he did not want America to hear what they were saying?). He clearly was not using timers to decide when it was each candidate’s turn to speak during these “Open Discussions.” I think he did them a great disservice and made both men look bad because of his poor job as a moderator.

What Really Happened in this Debate?

After watching the debate three times through and taking careful notes, I have analyzed who said what and when, and whose time period it was to be speaking (even if Chris Wallace did not announce it). I have broken it all down for you to see.

Assumptions I Made:

  1. If Chris Wallace asked a question, each candidate should have 2 uninterrupted minutes to respond, per the rules.
  2. I only counted interruptions during the other candidate’s speaking time or when Mr. Wallace was asking a question.
  3. I did not count interruptions during “Open Discussion,” because, without clear structure, the time lends itself to interrupting. It is difficult to decipher who was interrupting who during these time periods.
  4. I counted laughing as interrupting. It is rude and bully-like, just as bully-like as talking over someone.

A Note on Word Counts

My word counts are pretty accurate but not exact. I copied every word spoken during a segment, directly from my spreadsheet (which is divided into 15 second increments) and then pasted it into a Google Doc and did a word count. I put numbers “1 through sometimes 9” before words or phrases so I could show who spoke first, second, third, etc., during a 15 second chunk. These numbers are included in the word count, even though the candidates did not speak them, only because I did not take the time to remove each of these when I counted words. I also included some brackets, “[uttered something]” and “[laughed],” and these are totaled in with the word counts. While these exact phrases were not spoken by the candidates, I do think that their quiet utters and their laughing should be included in the word count for a segment.

Just a reminder, if you are interested in getting a copy of my debate spreadsheet, donate at least $5 to this site and make sure I have your email address.

Also, based on several samples, I have learned that the three men speak at different paces. I will note, at the end, the total word count, divided by their average speaking speed, to estimate how much talk time each man had.

President Trump spoke an average of 202 words per minute.
Vice Preside Biden spoke an average of 167 words per minute.
Chris Wallace spoke an average of 150 words per minute.

Keep this in mind when you see that President Trump had a higher word count in a segment, as was often the case, because this does not mean that he had more time.

For the Sake of Space, I have Used Initials

I don’t mean any disrespect by calling President Donald Trump “DT” and Vice President Joe Biden “JB,” I have only attempted to save space and make the details easy to read.

The Debate, Play By Play

Below, I share what Should Have Happened and What Actually Happened because of Chris Wallace’s poor job as a moderator. See how his choices directly impacted Americans’ view of each of these men and how they conducted themselves.

Moderators should not show any partiality, but CW began to show it just ten minutes into the debate by using absolutes like “President Trump, you have never ____.” He didn’t use any such phrases with JB in the entire debate. So What Was the Final Score?

I was curious to see, in the end, what this all amounted to. Clearly, the data I provided in this post does not determine the “Winner” of the debate (we would have to analyze the content for that), but it does show that Chris Wallace had an agenda.

Watch soon, I will be creating images for this post to share on social media, summing up the results.

On Modern Day Slavery

I was just shopping for cheap clothing, and then was convicted. I just shared with a friend, earlier, that I believe most of us are still active participants in slavery and wouldn’t be able to live the lifestyles we live without it. It isn’t in America, so we don’t see it right in front of our faces, but it IS happening. If we buy any of the following brands, at least, we are supporting the evil practice of slavery, STILL:

“Abercrombie & Fitch, Acer, Adidas, Alstom, Amazon, Apple, ASUS, BAIC Motor, BMW, Bombardier, Bosch, BYD, Calvin Klein, Candy, Carter’s, Cerruti 1881, Changan Automobile, Cisco, CRRC, Dell, Electrolux, Fila, Founder Group, GAC Group (automobiles), Gap, Geely Auto, General Motors, Google, Goertek, H&M, Haier, Hart Schaffner Marx, Hisense, Hitachi, HP, HTC, Huawei, iFlyTek, Jack & Jones, Jaguar, Japan Display Inc., L.L.Bean, Lacoste, Land Rover, Lenovo, LG, Li-Ning, Mayor, Meizu, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Microsoft, Mitsubishi, Mitsumi, Nike, Nintendo, Nokia, Oculus, Oppo, Panasonic, Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma, Roewe, SAIC Motor, Samsung, SGMW, Sharp, Siemens, Skechers, Sony, TDK, Tommy Hilfiger, Toshiba, Tsinghua Tongfang, Uniqlo, Victoria’s Secret, Vivo, Volkswagen, Xiaomi, Zara, Zegna, ZTE. Some brands are linked with multiple factories.”

UGH. That’s a lot. It’s convicting. It gives new perspective, for me, of some slave owners. Bear with me. I’m not saying slavery is okay, at all. Here are my thoughts about supporting modern-day slavery, and I imagine some, in the south, so long ago, felt the same way:I HATE slavery. I HATE the mistreatment of people. AND I don’t know how to get out of budgeting limitations that won’t allow me to buy all fair-trade, locally-made, hand-crafted everything. I don’t think I can even own a cell phone at all that isn’t manufactured with slave-labor. I think the only kind of vehicle we could drive is a Ford, to avoid supporting slave-labor, maybe (are they truly completely American-made?). With five kids, and the bills, and a need to put food on the table AND clothe my kids AND furnish my house, I find myself reliant on cheap goods in order to maintain my way of life….Do you guys follow?

I’m a well-meaning person. I don’t think I’m racist. I don’t hate any human group anywhere. I believe that all people were created in the image of God and I want all of them to have the same freedoms that I have.

This is a heartbreaking position!

I know there have been terrible slave owners who treated people worse than they would treat their dog. That is horrendous and I cringe thinking about it. I believe there were some well-meaning, stuck in an ugly system people, too. I think some of them did the best they could, and took in “slaves” but really treated them like children, like they were adopted. (Like Phillis Wheatley’s family), or treated adult slaves like members of the family instead of like servants. I would like to think I would have been one of them. The slaves should have been free to live where they wanted and do whatever kind of work they pleased. Period. So, no matter how good they were treated by their “masters,” it wasn’t an okay system. I think there were also people who didn’t own slaves who indirectly supported the very system they fought against, by buying cheap cotton and other goods that could only be purchased so cheaply *because* of slavery. I don’t know if they understood how their dollars supported the ugly system of slavery?

I hate slavery. I hate it. I want it to end, worldwide. I don’t want to be a part of it .Let’s start dialogue. How do we end it? For me, I’m thinking through: American-made clothing or at least not slave-labor clothing…Used furniture or American made or locally crafted. (I say that and think of dollar signs). I don’t know what to do about phones, other technology and cars. How do we end worldwide slavery together? Right now, all of us, who buy any of these brands, and so many others, are active participants, supporting slavery with our dollars. My guess is, if we buy anything “cheap,” like from Dollar Tree, Walmart, etc., we are supporting slavery. Not to throw certain businesses under the bus, but, really, how do they get such inexpensive products? What do we do? How do we get past real budget restraints and still pay people fair wages?

Update:

Okay, about my earlier post: WOW, I am so thankful to learn that we, as a country, are not going to be supporting this modern-day slavery any longer. This is new as of Sept 2020! https://www.congress.gov/…/116…/senate-bill/3471/text…https://www.westernjournal.com/trump-sanctions-chinese…/ Also, the Obama administration refused to exclude countries known for using slavery and human trafficking in his progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership deal, according to Huffington Post. Trump got us out of that deal quickly. Biden wants to get back in. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/slavery-really_b_7462932…https://www.forbes.com/…/09/08/biden-vs-trump-on-trade/… Moral of the story? If you hate slavery, you cannot vote for Biden. He WILL have our country supporting modern-day slavery in China. Trump has fought hard to make sure America has no part in this. We can make personal choices, sure, but if we want to make a GIANT impact on current-day slavery, our vote matters this November! https://dailycaller.com/…/trump-to-prioritize-ending…/

https://patriotpost.us/opinion/72224-bidens-callous-disregard-for-chinas-human-rights-abuses-2020-07-17?fbclid=IwAR1GniGYrEMiB4yNNeCTCW5z6WAj79F2kDfvPAGnUqm82SfaB8WpLPthpiQ

“Best chance” may be an understatement. Biden is China’s only chance.” Only chance meaning, the only chance for China to be on top again in world trade, to trade freely without the tariffs Trump put in place, and to trade freely using whatever means of labor they see fit. Joe Biden has said some scary things about China, like that he “understands” their one child policy that forces women to have abortions when they want to keep their baby. Wow.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2019/08/27/joe-biden-is-probably-the-only-man-who-can-save-china-in-202o/?fbclid=IwAR352IzWSc3WEZU7uVi0VhC3vBF-H22s6VccBeFUfxnH11C2IYeUtiGDb5Y#fe81d2f38264

Some of my replies to others:

“As far as not supporting slave labor, Congress has passed a law that is not going to allow ships of goods that were produced with slave labor to enter our country. Trump did try to negotiate, but China “re-framed” their slavery situation and called concentration camps industry training facilities, or something like that. I think sometimes, when a country refuses to change, we have to make hard rules that impact them in big ways. That’s my thought.”

“I hear you, but if we’re using slave labor to get our cheap products, should we continue in that practice, or cut it off right away? And then, shouldn’t we just learn to deal with the higher prices, because that is reality without slave labor? I think we, as Americans, are caught in a system that is based on false realities. Mortgages, high mortgages, car payments, buying things we couldn’t afford if they were made by fairly paid workers, etc.”

“I think most Americans really do live in a completely false world (me included). Most of us live in homes we couldn’t afford to buy outright and they aren’t really ours until 30 years later. Most people have car payments on cars they can’t afford to buy outright and that they don’t technically own until 5 years later…Most people buy disposable junk products, products that make life easier, without thinking of any consequences of those products (Consequences to human life, consequences to the recycling plants or the dumps, etc…). It’s easy to get stuck in this way of life and to think it’s normal, and to not question it. But, if we were in the south and people had slaves still today, and we were having this conversation—would it be okay (looking back), to say “but if they stop slavery so abruptly, cotton will be way, way, way too expensive and people won’t be able to afford it anymore”? Having to pay more for cotton would be painful, but we would have to deal with it, right? Now that we know about how horrible slavery was in our country, of course, we’d be willing to pay more to free people, right? I think we are facing the same exact dilemma right now, but it’s not in front of our eyes and we can’t see the faces of the people being mistreated. I think China is just the first step for the President, and mainly because it’s so bad there and so big there. But we’ve known that for years. People have joked about how cheap “Made in China” products were, maybe without realizing how they were so cheap (slave labor). I’m just thankful that President Trump is standing up to it and not encouraging China to continue in these evil practices (Obama did give them freedom to continue, and Biden would too). I agree there is slavery in other places, too, and I think all of it needs to be addressed. Under-paid, poorly-treated illegal immigrants who work in our meat plants (which are owned by China, by the way) in our country have been on my mind for so many years. I personally drew a line at cheap meat from these factories a long time ago, and I only rarely buy it (it is difficult to find boneless skinless chicken breasts or drumsticks at local farms, so sometimes I compromise for variety…Wish I didn’t…). I figured out how to budget for farm-fresh meat and purposely seek out buying 1/4 of a cow, or 1/2 of a pig at a time, etc. and fill a chest freezer with that meat (it’s cheaper per pound than buying each cut individually). I stretch the meat with a lot of soups to make it so that we can afford this. I do it for two reasons: 1. Our health, I think “Good fat” is super important for a healthy gallbladder and other organs and I don’t want to feed our family bad fat (fat is where the toxins go, so pork from these factories is particularly concerning to me). 2. I don’t want to support the ugly labor practices any longer. I read a book about a woman who was an illegal immigrant working in a tomato field with her baby attached to her, and she was working directly with pesticides and got cancer. All to feed us. It’s NOT okay, and stuff like that makes me so upset. It’s one of the reasons I started a blog about agriculture and farming practices 10+ years ago. So I started becoming a farmer’s market advocate and try to go often (every weekend if I can). Okay, I am babbling….But I think, overall, mistreatment of people has to stop everywhere, and I agree, it’s going to hit us hard when we have to pay the real costs of the things we buy….But–bring it on….In reality, we should probably all live in cheap houses, and buy our meats from farms that treat their employees well, and buy cars we can buy for cash, and stop buying junk products from slave-labor in China… ❤

“I don’t think we did away with slavery. I think we just moved it overseas. 🙁

“I wrote an article on my blog once about how we don’t think about our trash. What if we all had to keep all of our own trash on our own piece of property, forever? How much more careful would we be about the disposable stuff that we use? We aren’t being good stewards.”

A Border Wall for Human Trafficking?

This is from a press briefing from February 1, 2019.

There have more arrests of human traffickers in the 3.5 years of Trumps presidency than there were in 8 years of Obama’s. The media twists the intentions of everything.

Why the wall? To prevent child trafficking and to prevent criminals from exploiting children, using them over and over, to get into our country as a “family unit.

Why separate kids from adults? To prevent child trafficking.

Kids are being brought in with people they don’t belong to, their “sponsors,” who seek to exploit them. (You may remember me sharing that as we rode an Amtrak train last fall, a woman approached Ruby and then asked me if I was her “Sponsor.” This is child trafficking language. These are the people, so many of them, an increase starting in 2008, who are coming into the country illegally and posing as families…These are the ones the media wants to keep together as a family unit–kids, with their abusers…………) This is a serious issue.

McClafferty:

“And one of the indictments was a woman who was being paid $1,500 a child to take the children back to Guatemala who are not part of the actual family unit. So, she claimed to doing this 13 times, and so we found out they were recycling these children. They would bringing them up, smuggling them as part of a family group, recycle them back to Guatemala, put them in another family group, and come back up.So this was, you know, obviously an exploitation of these children.”

Mr. Ballard:

“I spent 12 years as a special agent, as an undercover operator, working on the southern border, working sex trafficking cases….One little girl I can tell you about. In fact, I introduced this little girl to Ms. Trump during a private briefing. This little girl was kidnapped in Central America. Eleven years old. Groomed for two years with the intent of getting her ready to come to America. Why? Because we are the highest-consuming nation of child pornography. We are the clientele that’s the big money. They brought this little girl through a part of the southern border where there was no wall, easily got her to New York City. And this is hard to hear but this is the truth, and everyone needs to hear this. This little girl — and this is very typical — raped for money every day, 30 to 40 times a day. If that’s not a crisis, if that’s not an emergency, I don’t know what is. Now, let me say this: Had there been a wall, had there been a barrier, this little girl likely would have been saved, because the traffickers would have been forced to take this child through the port of entry where we have amazing law enforcement. I’ve worked with these people. These are the best people on the planet. They can detect. They have equipment. They have trained agents.

In contrast, while this was happening, I was working another case. A little boy — a Mexican boy who was kidnapped by an American trafficker, by a child pornographer. He kidnapped Mexican children, brought them to San Bernardino County, where he had a makeshift studio, made child porn with these little children. Five years old. This little boy was kidnapped in Mexicali, Mexico where there was a wall, where there is a barrier. And so he was forced to take this little boy through the Calexico port of entry. And guess what? It worked. We captured him. We rescued the little boy, and subsequently rescued 12 other children in San Bernardino, California. The difference between those two cases is two plus two equals four. The wall was a difference. The wall rescued this little boy, and the lack of a wall caused this little girl to go through a hell that is indescribable, that is not manufactured. It is a real crisis. It is a real emergency.

“Scandiffio:

“The women talk about how they’re brought across the border, and one describes being put down face-down on a raft and pulled across on a rope. One driven in the back of truck, in the back of flat-bed truck. Or in the middle of the night, crossing the border into a vehicle taken to a safe house. They think their journey — the rough part of the journey is over, but little do they know, once they reach Queens, New York, that’s when their true horror begins where they’re abused, beaten, maybe not fed — all for the trafficker to take over their minds and to force them into this life of prostitution. For us, I thank God for the great work of the Border Patrol. They interdicted one of these individuals he had from females with him. From that little bit of information, we were able to uncover over 12 victims in New York, two of which were minors when they came across the border by this trafficking organization. And like Ms. Tucker stated, these poor women were asked to service 15 to 40 men a day for as little as $40. The organization was making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, which is being funneled back through Mexico. Doing this type of work for us at HSI is the most rewarding work that we could ever do because you’re saving a life; you’re saving a victim. And it’s making the public aware of this that’s out there. We did a bilateral takedown with the Mexican authorities where we arrested five of the individuals in Mexico; three of the individuals in New York. They were recently sentenced in January of this year, ranging from 8 to 25 years for the trafficking of these 12 victims to the New York area.

THE PRESIDENT:

And mostly are coming through the border?

MR. SCANDIFFIO:

Yes, Mr. President.”

I recommend that you read the entire transcript of this press briefing. It is eye opening. Why isn’t the media addressing this?

Fires on the West Coast

“We are reacting to a coordinated series of attempts to start fires anywhere and everywhere in Oregon. Public and Private lands, incorporated and unincorporated areas.

By all indications so far in the preliminary stages of these investigations there is a coordinated effort on the part of these individuals to start fires in areas that are the least protected and most vulnerable then slowing working their way into more populated areas and neighborhoods.

Please take this information as an advisory for you own account and welfare and please act in good faith with due diligence to plan accordingly for your own safety and the well being of your community.”

Where are they testing this? Africa. Always, testing new experiments on the vulnerable ones. It appears to be BG’s favorite place to treat people like guinea pigs and use untested vaccines. Now this. Ugh.

COVID-19

What’s the difference between a pandemic, an epidemic and an outbreak?

The Media is Anti-Vax?

It’s backwards day!! CNN, Zuckerberg, Biden and Harris and so many other news outlets–they’re all on the anti-vax bandwagon now!! THIS is what so many people have been asking about and talking about for years. Now, only because Trump (the “anti-vax” presidential candidate in 2016, according to the media) is talking about a Covid-19 vax by the end of the year, all of these people are suddenly questioning vaccines. They hate Trump SO much they are even willing to diss vaccine companies. WOW!!! This is just crazy! For the record, I don’t want the Covid Vax and I won’t be taking a Flu Vax, either. I know too much. Transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre, “polio-like illnesses,” shedding flu to pregnant women and babies for two weeks after the vax…ETC. I can go on…The media switch is mind-boggling! Health bloggers were censored and even banned from social media for spreading antivax “propaganda,” and now Zuckerberg is all for this freedom of speech. Just WOW.

Persecution of the Church

The church is being persecuted!!! A friend of mine summed up the video with this list:

  • No indoor meetings at all.
  • Services have to be shortened.
  • Restrooms are to be used during the service to minimize the rush.
  • No hymn books.
  • No communion.
  • No singing.
  • No offering containers.
  • No pew Bibles.
  • No hugging.
  • No shaking hands.
  • Pre-registration of every person who comes onto church property.
  • Every person must be screened and have temperature taken upon entering.
  • Must maintain 6 feet of social distance at all times everywhere, including parking lot and restrooms.
  • Anyone who comes in contact with someone outside their family for more than 15 minutes must quarantine for 14 days.
  • Every other parking space must be left vacant. *
  • Marked pathways to maintain social distance.
  • Staff monitors to keep people apart.
  • Everyone must wear a mask.
  • Restroom monitors to enforce social distancing in restrooms.
  • Tape on the ground to mark social distance in bathrooms.
  • Signs indicating these mandates.
  • Full disclosure on social media.
  • Disposable seat covers changed between services.
  • Can only meet in the tent (outside) with maximum of 300 or 400 people (I think it is an 8000 member congregation?)
  • Only allowed on church property for scheduled events.*
  • City will no longer rent the parking lot to them that they’ve been renting for over 40 years.

125 Doctors, Medical Researchers & Organizations who Support Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19

The argument goes like this: “Facebook, Youtube and Twitter shut down those Frontline Doctors because there were only a handful of them and they were going against science.”

I tell others “It’s not just them. There are others who have been silenced as well.”

They say “If that’s true, we will hear of them, somehow.”

So I searched. The thing is, this is a list of one-hundred-and-twenty-five, and frankly, I could keep going, because there are more. I am only posting this to prove a point:

The Frontline Doctors weren’t alone in their support of doctors having the freedom to use Hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19 patients.

Let’s get a couple of facts straight:

  • HCQ has been around decades longer than Remdesivir.
  • It is at least a thousand dollars cheaper.
  • In adequate doses, there are no dangerous side effects.
  • People who use Remdesivir, even at the right dose, can end up with kidney failure.
  • NEITHER med has had a double-blind-placebo study for COVID-19.
  • MANY more doctors all over the world have used Hydroxychloroquine for this virus than have used Remdesivir.

The following doctors, medical researchers and organizations have been vocal online about their support of Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 and/or their support of doctors having the right to use it without governors making the drug political:
